Thanks to everyone who took part in the truck pull on Sunday, it was a great day and i thought the winning team were fantastic. This was the second time that the Commitee team had one the trophy and it was an honour for me to lift it. Roll on next year !

We have been drawn at home vs Lydd Town in the 1st round of the Weald Of Kent Cup, this is due to be played on Saturday 28th August, with kick off at 2.30pm.

After playing for his Sunday side last week, Chalky got a nasty knee injury, this has resulted in him having to give up football, this is bad news for us and more importantly himself, on behalf of the whole club, we all wish him well in his recovery.

To supporters coming to the Semi-Final on Saturday or anyone who would like to, the address is Cray Valley FC, Badgers Sports Ground, Middle Park Avenue, Eltham, Greater London, SE9 5HT, the journey should take approx 1hr 15mins from New Romney, we have not got this far in this competition for a few years and it would be fantastic to see as many of the Romney faithful as possible to cheer the lads on, hopefully into the Final.

Message to supporters coming to the game tomorrow, the club will be holding a 1 minute silence prior to kick off and the team will be wearing black armbands as a mark of respect to David Wratten who sadly passed away last Friday, not only was he a caring and loving Father and Grandad, he was also an avid New Romney fan.

We were due to play at home vs AFC Sheppey this coming Saturday (06/02/10), however this has been changed and we are now playing top of the table side, Premier FC at home.
